An Interactive
Flashcard Experience

FlashBall is the brainchild of my two sons (Landon and Grayson) and I almost 9 years ago in an effort to make learning fun for them while they were in elementary school.  Like most young students, their attention span was somewhat limited, and it was difficult to get them to sit still for long periods of time. So, we had to make it entertaining. Starting as a simple rolled up pair of athletic socks as a make-shift ball, we took turns tossing the “ball” to each other and if successfully caught, a math question such as 4+5 was given.  When either of the boys got the question correct, they were able to choose the next person to toss the ball to and the game continued.  Doing this for hours, both boys were learning without even realize they were doing so.  To them, it was a game and that was the point.  One day, I walked into my son’s room, and they were playing the game on their own.  Problem was that although their hand-eye coordination was quickly improving, I heard one ask, “what is 3+8” and the other said “12!!!”  They both celebrated because they thought they were right!  WRONG!!!

Moving forward almost a decade later, The Junior Genius, a Georgia based, family owned small business, is excited to introduce FlashBall. Making learning an entertaining adventure, FlashBall is the ultimate educational device for young learners that seamlessly blends active learning with improved hand-eye coordination. With its interactive Bluetooth capabilities and unique motion sensing skills, FlashBall helps students grasp essential math concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in a fun and engaging way. But that’s not all!  FlashBall also has modules focused on states and capitals along with state abbreviations, turning students into geography wizzes while they play.  From math to geography and beyond, FlashBall is a versatile tool that fosters a love for learning in students while having fun.
By focusing on “active learning”, FlashBall makes learning enjoyable which leads to increased retention.   Did you know that studies show hand-eye coordination and interceptive timing are strong predictors of how well young children will perform in school?
